There will be more than 8,500 performers from over 20 different countries across the globe, including everything from marching bands to cheerleading skits, to get you in the festive spirit this New Year’s Day.

Last chance to catch Chiswick House’s annual Magical Lantern Festival. This year it returned with a galaxy of celebrity fans including Ant and Dec, Emma Bunton and Emilia Fox. As well as light installations and Christmas-themed markets, there’s a virtual reality area, ice rink, pop-up ice bar and street food stalls serving up steak sandwiches, smoked meats and Asian-inspired fare.
