Wahaca’s Day of the Dead
Inspired by the traditional Día de los Muertos celebrated across Mexico, Wahaca is throwing a Mexican festival of food, music, art and culture in the dark, labyrinthine setting of Waterloo’s underground vaults. Lose yourself in a Mayan jungle, pay your respects to the dead in the Cemetery Pantheon General in Oaxaca, and if you’re brave enough, wander to into La Llorona’s Cantina, where the weeping lady herself will be serving up a heavy hit of tequila and telling tales of her all long-lost children. Music will play late into the night and there will, of course, be moreish tacos and tequila cocktails served up courtesy of Wahaca. Sign up to our VIP club and you'll get free food and drinks tokens, as well as a free face painting session to redeem at the event. Happy haunting!
